Quotes from the guest book:
“Thank you so much for the use of your lovely farmhouse and the warm welcome you gave us. Having stayed in several farmhouses in Wales, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the nicest & certainly the best-equipped of them all.”

“We have stayed in many cottages over the years, but this is undoubtedly the best. Thank you for a really quality experience: the warm welcome, beautifully fitted & equipped kitchen & the garden herbs which we were able to make good use of.We were impressed by the quality of the woodwork and fittings! An excellent holiday.”

The stone Farmhouse (sleeps up to 10) and separate little cottage (Shippon, sleeps 2+) of Bryn Halen Mawr nestle 290 metres high in the heavenly Denbighshire hills with spectacular open views to the Clwydians, Clocaenog forest and towards Snowdonia. Off the busy tourist trail, two miles down a single-lane road, you have found the perfect, peaceful location for a ‘get away from it all’ holiday. It is, however, easy to reach and ideally situated for exploring North Wales. Chester is 45 minutes drive, Manchester and Liverpool just over an hour and Birmingham under 2 hours. Snowdonia is 35 minutes away, North and West Coasts just an hour's drive and many beauty spots and attractions even closer. With picturesque walks from the door and other great rambles nearby, this undiscovered countryside reveals stunning views in every direction. Even in North Wales, renowned for its beauty, this area stands out. (See testimonials)
